ABSTRACT

The main aim of this project is provide security, safety and power saving and power quality for new generation smart Digital  home. These are very essential in present life style.

Security and safety is primary concern for every one. This Project describes a design of effective security alarm system that can monitor the house with different sensors. Unauthorized access, Fire accident, wall braking, IR detection, and for safety Gas Leakage detection can be monitored by the status of each individual sensor and is indicated with an LED. The most important thing he forgets is to switch off the room lights wherever not required. With this, even the power will be wasted up to some extent. This project gives the best solution for electrical power wastage. Also the manual operation is completely eliminated.

The power Quality in the home is to  monitoring the current and voltage values. The value of power calculated in microcontroller is displayed in the LCD display. If the exceeds voltage and current value’s and the loads will disconnect the power supply. This is indicated by the corresponding message in the LCD display and then tripped.

The water level of the water tank can also be monitored and the motor can be controlled through project. Due to which we can save wastage of both the water and electricity  

This project uses regulated 5V, 500mA power supply. 7805 three terminal voltage regulator is used for voltage regulation. Bridge type full wave rectifier is used to rectify the ac out put of secondary of 230/12V step down transformer.
